A 2 line cordless phone is basically a regular home cordless phone which allows you to handle two or more cordless phone lines. A 2 line cordless phone comes with a base station, that connects to your homes land line. Then, the cordless phone handsets, are generally powered by a rechargeable nimh battery, that gets charged once you leave the 2 line cordless phone in its dock, or base, charging station.
